The Australian Dental Association is the peak national body for dentists. A voluntary member organisation with branches in every state and territory, it has three main objectives:

To support members by enhancing their ability to provide safe, high quality professional oral health care To encourage the improvement of the oral and general health of the public Promotion of the ethics, art and science of dentistry.

Our Structure: A not-for-profit professional membership organisation, the ADA is governed by elected members who are empowered to set the strategic direction, vision, and high level operation of the Association.

Strategic Plan: The ADA has a continued vision to be the recognised leader and voice in oral health for the community, government and media.

Policies: The ADA's policies are the foundation of its governance and guide its public statements on a host of different issues affecting the dental profession.

Branches of the ADA:

The ADA maintains an active presence in every state and territory, providing education and face-to-face assistance to members, delivering public oral health advisory services, and advocating on key issues affecting the profession.

Affiliates: These organisations actively work in partnership with the ADA for the advancement of the dental profession as a whole.

ADA Award: The ADA greatly values the contributions of those who have given so much to the dental profession and in this section you will find the recipients of the awards the Association bestows on many deserved recipients.

Code of Ethics: By-Law II Code of Ethics outlines obligations and attitudes that dentists should uphold when practicing within the profession as well the manner in which they are to approach staff and patient matters.

Misión:

The primary objectives of the Australian Dental Association Inc. are to encourage the improvement of the oral and general health of the public, promote the ethics, art and science of dentistry and support members to provide safe, high quality professional oral care. The Australian Dental Association (ADA) values the thoughts and opinions of the Australian people.

We’d like to keep Australians up-to-date with news and events in Australian dentistry, activities undertaken by the ADA, and oral health information. But more importantly we’d like to hear your feedback. Whether you’re a dentist, a member of the dental team, a student of dentistry, or have a general interest in dentistry, we’d like to hear what you’ve got to say
