The NHDS is home to nearly 800 member dentists and over 200 hygienists and other oral health practitioners. We are proud to serve as our members’ main source of information on oral health in the Granite State. NHDS members have access to local, state and federal political advocacy, Continuing Education, marketing, business and staff development services. Members of the New Hampshire Dental Society go above and beyond standard professional requirements. Your NHDS member dentist has made a special commitment to uphold the ethical code, practice standards and mission of the NHDS: to sustain and improve the spectrum of oral health for the people of New Hampshire by maintaining a relevant and effective dental profession.

The New Hampshire Dental Society is the professional association of dentists and oral health professionals in New Hampshire. With nearly 1000 members, the society represents more than 73 percent of the practicing dentists in the state. The NHDS is driven by its mission statement, guided by the principles of its constitution and bylaws, and focused on the goals established in its strategic plan.

The New Hampshire Dental Society 's purpose is to:

Promote the art and science of dentistry.

Represent members.

Provide leadership, educational information and other services for members.

Through its members insure the oral health of the people of New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Dental Society speaks for dentistry of the state level on legislative, regulatory and dental issues involving the public. The society provides its members with quality continuing dental education programs, placement services as well as a variety of other services.The society is composed of nine component dental societies that form the foundation of the constituent society as such and play a critical job in providing direction for the entire organization. Member dentists have a voice in their preferences in the manner in which the society functions.

The purpose of the New Hampshire Dental Society is to assist its members in providing and promoting the highest professional levels of oral health care for the citizens they serve and to disseminate knowledge pertaining to the advancement of health. As an organized body, the New Hampshire Dental Society encourages its individual members to be collectively effective with the issues that confront them and serves as an advocate for the advancement of the profession.
